Recommended places in Stalos village
Maria's restaurant, located in the heart of Kato Stalos offers a variety of excellent Cretan, Greek and European dishes. Their excellent service and good prices have made Maria's place popular among tourists and locals alike. If you are looking for something a little more out of the way, Leventis restaurant is located in the hills of Pano Stalos village. The beautiful scenery and tranquil surroundings are a perfect setting to enjoy the delicious traditional Cretan meals the restaurant is renown for among the locals. Service may be a little slower, but the delicious food is well worth the wait. If you are looking for a few drinks, Mambo beach bar is a short walk from the hotel. Located on Stalos beach, it is a great place to enjoy a few cocktails and listen to a variety of music. If you are looking for something a little louder, next door is the club Envy. The action starts after midnight, and the music is mostly Greek, a great place to practice your belly dancing (Tsifteteli) or Zembekiko.
